1. Firefly: ...Really? You mean the glowy bugs or the TV show?? ^^;; Eitherway, I love fireflies!! Every summer we went on vacation to the lake, if it was warm enough, we'd watch fireflies all over the grass and bushes all over town, and it was gorgeous. I always felt they were like fairies, magical and tiny.

And about the TV show, well, Joss Whedon is awesome, so of course I love it!! And Summer Glau is awesome. And the movie, Serenity, was SO AWESOME, and so sad. And Reavers are creepy as hell, especially after the twist of the movie.

Also, "I am to misbehave" may be my favorite quote ever.

2. Merlin: OMFG HE'S SO CUTE!!!! I mean the BBC show actor of course. I just love him, and his dorky ears and adorkable smile. The show itself is so sweet and adorable, with just the proper amount of angst to still work as a pick me up show. And Arthur is just plain  hot.

3. Medicine: My love and life, and the pain in my ass. I swear I have such an ambivalent relationship with this career sometimes. And my own confidence still goes up and down on the same day. Maybe I should've gone into anthropology instead??

Then again, I am good at what I do. And most of the time I'm happy doing it. Most of the time

4. Dragonball Evolution: THEY HAD MARSTERS AS PICCOLO AND THEY BLEW IT!!!! The storyline and the dialogue was so dumb, it wasn't worthy to be called Dragonball. It was just a teen-martial arts movie. And a sucky one at that.

Also, I guess that's one sporking I won't get to finish. Because I am not watchong the thing again just to spork the second half of it. XD

5. Torchwood: OMFG YES!!!! (though I won't comment on the last season, Children of Earth broke my heart in so many different ways I blocked it out). This show is just cool and funny, and it has my first CANONICAL SLASH PAIRING!!! With squee-worthy on cammera action too. Man, they look good together, Jack and Ianto.

And I just noticed 4 out of 5 of this were TV shows.... am I that much of a fangirl?? ^.^

Well, I finally saw it. *sigh* Let's start by listing all the parts that made me wanna cry:

I'M GONNA MISS 10 SO MUCH!!!!! I think David Tennant was really sad to leave the show too.

I just saw Merlin 2.09, "Lady of the Lake", and..... and now I totaly ship Merlin/Freya.

I mean, Merlin was so sweet, and happy, and GIDDY!!! Before the angst-fest began, of course. And wiki says Freya will come back again, as.... well, as Lady of the Lake. Wich is awesome.

And it got me thinking,  the reason why I can't ship Arthur/Gwen it's not just that he has better chemistry with Merlin (it is an epic bromance though), but it's more that I don't believe the actress playing Gwen when she has romantic scenes with him!! I buy the love with her and Lancelot, I buy the love with Merlin and Freya, I even got the UST with Arthur and Morgana last season. So yeah, maybe if I felt some conection between the actors, I may get onboard with the supposed main canon pairing.

That being said, to me this season is SO MUCH BETTER than the first!!!! It's just my humble opinion, but "Sins of the Father" may be the best episode yet. Arthur's acting blew me away!!!! And Merlin's too, and Uther's, and just..... it was awesome all around.

(btw, it jut struck midnight here, so once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!)

EDIT: OK, I stand corrected. After watching episode 10, "Arthur and Lady Vivian".... yeah, I buy Arthur/Gwen now.

I've been watching the second season of Merlin, I'm up to the sixth episode. And while I am enjoying this quite a lot, there are some things that I must wander about. Is it just me, or....

Well, I just got done watching the first part of "The End of Time", and about 2/3 through the way I was getting ready to post something about gratuitous fan service in the form of The Master in a kinky red leather dog collar seriously, please tell me I'm not the only one who thought that was hot, but then......

I was reading Stephen Hawking's "the Universe in a Nutshell", when this line got my eye:

I just finished good Omens over the weekend, and I'm still bursting into random giggle-fits at the whole thing. It's just so cool and well paced and.... well, cool!

Right now I'm starting on "Alice's Adventures on Wonderland", I've never read it before because the spanish versions are all abridged, so I finally got it from Amazon. Down the rabbit hole I go!!!!

OK, I just watched "Abandon all Hope", and..... DAMN the episode is aptly titled. Just.... DAMN!!




On another note: The acting on this episode was spectacular. Jensen Ackles especially, he was mindblowingly good!! And Misha Collins, and the guy that plays Lucifer, they were AWESOME!!! And Jared too of course, with his lost-puppy-angry-face..... that look can't be easy to pull off.

Just wanted to update before I go into my weekend shift. I've been feeling much better, it's been a good couple of days. Even if the highlight of my week was taking a corn piece out of a little girl's nose, it actually felt kinda great; she didn't even cry or anything, and she was only three years old! I swear her father was more freaked out than she was.

Also, cable rocks today because I hadn't seen Zoolander for a long time, and I've been laughing my ass off for the past hour and a half!! XDD I love that movie.

I think I may need to cut down on the NC17 and R rated fics for a while.... I've had Dean and Castiel stuck on my mind all day. Even if no one else here knows any english, it may not be a good idea to read smut during work hours, yes??

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS WEEKS SPN!!! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT tomorrow when I'm done DLing it, and probably during night shift....

And before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HALFLIGHT!!!!!!

Also, about this week's Supernatural: So maybe it was filler, and yes, maybe the handy plot-device to move towards The Colt (tm) seems like a dumb poorly written Deus ex Machina, but........ I CAN'T STOP GIGGLING ABOUT THIS!!! The entire thing was made of win, and Sammy makes my heart get warm and fuzzy all over again (wich hasn't happened since season three). And by god, I have to admit if I was at a convention and met the real Dean Winchester, I would try and hit that with all I could think off! So, can't really blame Becky for giving Sam the googly eyes. Good thing Chuck finally had something good happen to him though, the poor guy. And a forum for talking about Homoerotic Subtext?? PFFFT KRIPKE WINS AT LIFE!!!!! Oh dear, I love the meta humor so much.

Not only does it have a lot of angst and hot prons, but the crack possibilities are just..... if this was canon, the following dialoge wold actually be in character, I swear...

This is also why I'm quickly falling in love with Cas/Dean.... even more than Wincest.... it's the pretty blue eyes, I swear they hipnotize me or something!!

I've been watching (and singing to) the musical episode from Buffy, you know, "Once More With Feeling". It's my all times favorite, even though I'm not really a fan of the sixth season... it was better than the fifth, but still, I disgress.

I once wrote a HP fic based on this episode; Harry was Buffy, Dumbles was Giles and Xander/Anya were Ron/Hermione. I think Dawn was Ginny, and Draco sang Spike's song, just because they look alike XDD. It was fun, but the forum I was a part off died and then my computer died and I never got to finish it.

Anyway, I've been thinking of my nanowrimo story, wich is going to be a Supernatural fanfic. Because, let's be realistic, I am not in a place where I can just start off with original fiction, I only joined so I would get my own writting ball rolling. And I'm using training wheels. And I think one of the chapters is going to be based on this Buffy episode too!!! Truth is, I just wanna make Bobby sing "I've got a theory, it could be demons! A dancing demon, no, something isn't right here...".

The point to this ramble being... my fanfic will have a plot highly centered on a female OC.... yes, I'm afraid I'll be writing a Mary Sue for the next month. But her reason for being a Mary sue is kinda plot relevant.... just hear me out.

So, what do you think?? Classic Sue, or do I have something slightly interesting here?? I think everyone does write a Sue at some point, just to get it out of their sistem, but still... ideas? comments?? Or come December, should I offer this up for sporking??

Well, I'm bored..... I've been stuck in the ER since 8:30 this morning, still have 6 hours to go, and I haven't seen anything more interesting than a sore throat.
